HEADS UP (June 7th, 2024)

A major update is coming sometime in June. The files currently within the product page pertains to the soon to be older version of this base. I'm working hard to roll out the update ASAP and it's almost finished!

I would personally wait to retexture or do any edits until after the update is released if you do decide to purchase right now.

The update will include:

• New and improved UVs
  • Don't worry, older textures with the soon to be legacy UV layout will still be mostly supported
• Better Substance Painter and PSD files
• A bunch more facial expressions
• More body customization options and material presets
• Quest/ Mobile variant
• Small amount of clothes
• Improved avatar helper
• Unified Expressions for Full Face Tracking
• MMD support
• Tutorials on editing and updating

Terms:

Upon purchase, you are free to edit and use the files as well as outsource to whomever (I don't have a whitelist of people who can edit)

YOU CAN:

• Make public versions of this avatar (as long as it'll be clone-able in a public world)
• Import into other games such as ChilloutVR, Resonite, Phasmophobia, BeatSaber, etc.)
• Modify the avatar
• Retexture or make species edits as a commission
  • Only one person needs to own the base for retextures. Just send the Substance Painter/ PSD files.
  • Both/ all parties need to own the base to mesh edits and clothing creation

• Sell clothing and props you've created for the avatar
• Use for VTubing streaming (just give credit to me: https://twitter.com/TeaLBiTZ)
  

YOU CAN NOT:

• Claim it as your own
• Remove the signature inside the chest (you can add your name next to it if you made a commission)
• Use inappropriate edits in Public instances
• Resell, redistribute, or give away this base or any content within (premade clothing)
• Relist the edited model on selling platforms
• Sell the base avatar as a subproduct (3D prints, posters, etc.)
• Share the source files to anyone who hasn't purchased this base
• Use to make or promote hateful, racist, political, homophobic, xenophobic, or any extreme / radical content
• Use this base as part of an NFT (I DO NOT want my work associated with NFTs of any sort)!
  

EDITING AND IMPORTING:

If you don't know how to import this into VRChat, don't worry! There's a guide included. For customizing the avatar though, you will need to know how to use Unity and/ or Blender and Substance Painter. There is a readme on how the Foxx :3 avatar differs from a typical avatar behind the scenes ^^.

I am not responsible for teaching you the 3D software (Blender, Maya, Unity, etc.) or how to edit or modify the contents of the package.
